Thinkpad 600E supervisor password

in conjunction to this thread, long boot thread , i am about to format the drive but i found out in the bios that i cant change the startup sequence. the option is greyed out including the password option. i have a power- on password everytime i boot up but when i get into the bios using my power-on password, i cant use/change those options. how do i log using the supervisor password? i get the same log on screen for power on password everytime i turn on the laptop.

need your help..

(i just realize i have a lot of problems right now )

Usually, unplugging the laptop, removing the battery, and removing the CMOS battery for a while will clear the BIOS.

You should then be able to get in and make any changes.
