Burned up power supply and odd time acceleration.
Howdy all,
The other day I noticed my PC rebooting accompanied by the smell of electrical burn. The power supply was still working, but with the odor, I decided I would just replace it. Anyhow for about a week before this incident, the time on the PC was going fast. In the course of 24 hours it would be 10 minutes fast. Anyhow I installed the new power supply and load up the PC, oddly enough the time was dead on, even though I had not reset it before shutting down with the burning smell. Is this just coincidence?
