OE problem

I tried to eliminate using a password for my Outlook Express and I did such a good job that now I can't receive messages. I get the host SMPT cannot be found and The host POP3 cannot be found. Can someone help me to get going again. Thanks

Check your mail account settings and make sure they're correct.

Do you have any AV software that changes your mail account settings?

The only way to eliminate using a password is by saving your password or you ISP not requiring you to use one. I doubt the latter will happen.

Would you be so kind as to tell me just what I have to do and what to look for.

In OE, click on . . .

Tools
Accounts
Double-click the Account
Click on the Servers tab
Check the Incoming mail (POP3)
Check the Outgoing mial (SMTP)
Check that you have your Account name
Check that you have your Password (check the Remember password if you don't want to enter it all the time)

Your ISP should have given you the info needed for POP3 and SMTP, they should be something like domain.com or mail.domain.com or pop.domain.com or smtp.domain.com
