can't set fax modem

Trying to set up fax modem Askey Cnr v.92 modem start at :
Control panel, printers and other hardware ,set up fax.
Then says "the file "fxscfgwz.dll" on windows xp profesional cd -rom is needed ."
Then reads "type path where the file is located ,and then click o.k
copy file from c:\Intel|Dslsetup|Netcab98|i386 click ok and nothing happens
any ideas?

Have you installed a thirdy party fax program or are you using something resident in XP? Most modems come with their own
communications software just in case you weren't aware. Also, have you actually installed the modem drivers and checked through Windows that it is detected and working properly?
