whats all this 2-2-2-5 or whatever posting i see on newegg about Memory?
im building a system soon, and aside from trying to pick a reasonably priced motherboard (i went with ABIT 865PE IS7) I had to pick up some memory.
I decided on the Corsair Value Select 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200
I see all these posts on here and on newegg's reviews for RAM of numbers like 2-2-2-3 or whatever. (not sure exact numbers)
Will this concern me? Is this something I have to change nowadays (its been a while since ive built a computer, always just popped in the RAM)
Is this overclocking when people are talking about these numbers? Is this something i should change with my bios to increase performance based on mobo specs?
Should I get a different brand of RAM?
Sorry for the barrage of questions....its 3:45am... im wide awake and all this just jumped to my attention.
thanks a lot
