Kids Which hard drive to buy?

Hey guys, long time no see!

I'm in the market for a new hard drive...200GB, I need one right away as I'm burning DVD's constantly to keep my current 130GB going. So I'm looking at newegg of course...

What do you recommend? Any that might not be on that list? I've always been a Maxtor fan, but never purchased anything larger than 60GB. I'm open to any/all suggestions...I'm not going to be using the drive as an OS drive right away, but I will be using it as the main drive the next time I do a clean install...not sure how far away that is though.

WinXP Pro
Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra Mobo
Athlon 2000+ (OC'd to 2GHz)
1GB Mushkin PC2700
Blah Blah, etc...

Thanks in advance!

Mike

For that task, I'd go with Maxtor. My 80GB 7200rpm Maxi has performed flawlessly, even after dropping it five feet onto hard linolium floor.

The Western Digital below it would be faster, and it's close, but the former would be quieter and very reliable. (they also run cooler than others)
