Midi disabled,no waveset

I have been fighting thiscard for days.I installed the Ensoniq 1370 PCI sound card,with the standalone drivers from the SB website,and it works but Iy says that it cannot load the midi waveset,and the midi has been disabled.Itried the update,but still no go,and I d/l each of the wavesets,but have no idea how to install them.

I really need the midi on this thing to work,and it's really getting to me.Any idea on how to get it to work,a place that has a driver known to work with the card or whatever.

I have also tried a couple of drivers from Driver Guide with the same results.

No instructions on the website on installing the wavesets either

Found this on the driverguide forum:

"Ensoniq ES1370 Sound Card

Files located at www.ensoniq.com. Go to audio drivers, then audio pci drivers.
Download the file e64w9xup from the website.
Also download the 2 midi sets at the site - they are at the bottom of the page. You will have to unzip the midi set files before you can use them.

When you load the driver file you will get a message about midi sets.
Go to My Computer, right click, Properties, Device Manager, select the sound card, properties, and choose settings. From there, choose add wavesets. Browse your computer where you put the waveset files and add them. "

Even if that's not the right driver, at least it explains how to install the wavesets.
