Dreamweaver and CSS

i hope this is easy to understand, im taking a class in dreamweaver mx.

The first page i work on is the index page. I created the index page and create the style sheet, export the style sheet and save it. then i delete the style sheet and import it back into the index from the saved one.

now this is where im confused. say i have other web pages i want to base off the index page, do i duplicate the index page with the style sheet on or off? Im thinking off. then open the other pages and import the style sheets.

Yeah, I think it's pretty easy. Aukland's an easy teacher... tests are quite easy. just read the book and do the tutorials and you'll do just fine.
