can I do this

I am upgrading my puter and can i move my main 80 gig drive from my old system and put it in the new system

running Win2kpro??

You can do that, but you might have to reinstall Win2000.

You probably can do a repair installation so you can keep your settings. When you put your win2k disc in at boot, start the installation and select repair install when you see the menu where you select which partition to install it on.

You mean the OS drive? Not unless it's an identical motherboard. Otherwise you'll boot to a BSOD.

EDIT: Buzioid's idea might work, though.
