One problem I had is that when I changed BIOS settings my computer would refuse to see the usb keyboard i have. I had to go and get an old keyboard that uses the round connector (whats it called?) and change the bios settings to fix it. I had to switch the usb keyboard handling from BIOS to OS. once i went into windows and reinstalled the keyboard driver it works in startup. |
Yeah, that appears to be a problem with USB keyboards. If you're not "set up" you can't run the BIOS! My manual tells me to "temporarily plug in a PS2 keyboard", adjust settings, power down & then switch to the USB keyboard.
Not a very cool deal if you ask me.
