Kids CPU clock setting on ECS L4VXA2

I have an ECS L4VXA2 mobo that has a BIOS setting (Phoenix-Award) in the Frequency/Voltage section for "CPU Clock". It'll only accept 1 to 132. There's a P4 2.5 GHz (400Mhz Fsb) on the board. The manual shows completely different settings for that section, so it's no help. And the ECS website doesn't even offer a user manual for that board.

Anyone have experience with this mobo and know what the setting for CPU Clock should be?

TIA.

itd be 100..correct?

as in (100x4)

whereas for example 102 would be a slight overclock of 408fsb

That's what I was thinking, too. It just seems weird that they only allow it to go to 132.

Exactly. The base clock is preset by plugging a certain CPU flavor in, and then you can tune up and down from there.

Thanks, Peter M. I was hoping you'd drop in on this.

Good call, JP.
