Catalyst 4.2 is out

so anybody know if it's any good? I had 4.1 and it was really slowing my Radeon 9800 Pro a bunch.

what's everyone's favorite catalyst right now?

You neglected to include 3.10 thats what im using now and it works fine for me

3.10 also here. i think ill just stick with this for now working perfectly fine. too many bad experiences with other catalyst.

You have 3.9 and 3.8, those are both older than 3.10.

So far 4.2 is working fine on a 9000 and a 7000 here.

It's such a pain in the butt to change out the old drivers and software changes for my ATI TV Tuner, Remote Control & my 9600 that I might wait until they stop making the updates. (Maybe)

Anyone try this newest driver on a 9600 non pro?

ATI is worse than Microsoft!

If ya read the news you would have known days ago
So far I haven't had too much time to test out the 4.2 drivers, but they work great here on a radeon 9000 pro. I actually never had a problem with the 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 4.1, 4.2, they all work here smoothly and that is all i care about.
It does look like there were a few performance increases but i have yet to try UT2003 or UT2004 demo on it.

I've got the 4.2 installed, and is working fine for me on my 9800 NP @ FTP(Faster Then Pro) speed.

Played lotsa games, NFS Underground, call of duty, MOHAA, all worked fine. Ohh, and Diablo 2 ofcourse.
