oh yeah, that happened to me awhile ago....
Couple of months back, i was going to buy/trade my system for this compaq laptop. I called the person, he told me it was a stolen laptop because he stole it from compaq when he used to work with them...yeah, please add that rule!

Yes I agree the original poster should have to deal with lots and lots of pain while we painlessly keep giving them more and more
