Just an idea, a lot of forum post titles are too long to fit in the limited space at the bottom of the main page, or on the recent posts at top of page. How about adding tool tips with the full name when you hover a second or two over the link.
Some people put the important words and bring the topic to a point later in the title that we don't see.

I personally think that this is a great idea and that it would be quite helpful. Kinda analagous to the summaries on the posts, but this one would display the whole title.
Too often titles do get cut off, especially at lower resolutions, and you have to click the link even to find out what it is
Not sure if I like the idea of popups everywhere I drag my mouse. The ones on the main forum pages are OK, as I can avoid them if I try. But having something popup everytime my mouse passes the new thread box or zero reply box may be a bit much. Especially on my laptop using the mousepad.
Might be a bit more stuff to be processed server-side as well, and might bog things down.
