what do with badly worded topics

out of the 14 topics in the recent thread window, 3 have no mention of what the topic is...instead only a 'help' or 'please read' .

can we do something about this?!...it's getting a tad ridiculous, people.

here were the culprits:

I definitely agree! I'm far more likely to look at a topic if it's got a descriptive topic.

well, i clicked on 'em and i even replied to one or two, but i may starting posting replies like, "I would ordinarily help you with your problem, but I am not because of your topic wording". that sounds rude but people are starting to abuse the system. one poster even admitted that he posts the topic as "Please help" because he says more people will look at it.

perhaps the mods can give offenders a gentle nudge to reword their topic headers as the threads are created...

Yeah but how hard is it to open up the thread even if it only says "help". Most of the time it is new members posting there problems. Give these people a break.

New members or not what is the real problem. I don't think its such a big deal. Without people posting on here there would be nothing. At least alot of times they have real questions they need help with.

the real problem is it may get of out hand if people start noticing that they are more liable to get reads if they provocatively word their topics with headers like "Urgent help needed" or "I really need help".

can you imagine if there are a doz recent topics all looking like that. it becomes a mess.

it's obvious you don't get it...
