i find that i am getting subscribed to threads that i dont want to be subscribed to. it is either a all on or all off thing right?

maybe a check box when you reply to say 'do not subscribe me' or just a link somewhere on the page so you dont have to go through your mail.

then under the "Subscribed Threads" you can unsubscribe from which ever one you'd like.

yeah, but i would like it to be easier to initially not be subscribed you know?

maybe that would even be better if there were check boxes next to them and you can unsubscribe faster

check your options/preferences, I believe there is a choice for this problem in there.

Go to UserCP> Edit Options
Then you will see
"Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in."

Then put that on no.

I still have no idea why this is standard on "On" to get this to no standard the template should be edited.
It would be easier that they should have just made a option for it in the admin panel.

well i like to be subscribed to some threads, just not others. sometimes i want subscribed to the ones i post it cuz i want to come back and see what others have said, others i just add my 2 cents and run know what i mean?

On the top you can find a link to view all your posts, so you can just check them http://www.techimo.com/forum/search....ser&userid=623

You can also just click for certain topics the box under the reply, which says "Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible"
