MDS, I haven't noticed any slowdowns in the past couple of weeks, though I am onsite mostly during the late night hours.

It's a server load issue - that box is static and skuz is right, at first, it used to do as you suggest. When economically feasible, we'll upgrade the hardware (which is already pretty fast) and maybe be able to implement some of these more server intensive requests.
