New Forum Subject Needed

How about a forum dedicated to known Download Files Guaranteed to Make You Sorry? You could call it Internet No No's.

Just a thought. I'm sure a lot of us have accidently killed or damaged our systems by downloading something we thought was safe. We could all benefit by the mistakes of others being documented.

The same thing could probably be solved by a sticky thread... no?

Ah, still reeling from what the youngin' did the other day eh Bill? Only problem is most all those downloads are illegal and in a way giving a warning would be like condoning illegal downloads now wouldn't it?

In a way, I agree with you, but it would sure protect someone's machine. I had no idea that this was an illegal download. And, if I did know it, would a 12 year old necessarily know that it was? Then again, he knows more about some of this computer stuff than I do. Hell, he has more posts than I do.

A sticky would be nice.
