PM message
I'm interest in knowing when i receive the PM because there is no indication of telling me when i received. I just login and click on PM then i saw a message that's 3 months ago and i didn't know about. How could that possible?? .. well, you should have something to acknowledge the user that i get message from every forum such as FS/FT where i mostly spend my time there login directly to that, and not knowing if i have any message waiting for me.
thanks,

i think under user options you can set it to email you and/or pop up a window when you get a PM.

yeah.. but sometimes i don't bother to click on user option .. ahhah. And hardly i got any message so i just go directly to the fs/ft forum and then have a quick check and close it.

I think what cracked is saying, that when you're logged in or when you first log in, there is an option that a message will pop-up saying that you have a PM. That's what happens when I login anyway.
Are you saying that it should tell you before you login that you have a PM?

but if you set it to "pop up a window when i get a PM" or "email me when i get a PM" then you dont have to go to the user option every time, just once in order to set your preferences. then everytime you go to this site if you are logged in it will pop up a window saying" you have a PM"

Are you saying that it should tell you before you login that you have a PM? | No, i save my login in the computer i'm using so i just go directly to the fs/ft page w/o login everytime.. so there is no indication if i have any new message unless i click on user option, and i hardly have any new message so it's a hassle to click everytime i get on. I just drop by for a quick sec then turn off.

just to get clarification, do you manually login every time, or do you have it set to automatically log you in, or do yo go to the site as a guest unless you need to post something?
if you have it set to automatically log you in then do what i said and problem solved.

Hmm, how bizarre. I don't use the "remember my login" so I can't really input on that. It should still pop-up a window when you get PM though. At least mine does. Even if I'm already logged in for let's say 8 hours straight. (not that I ever am...well, maybe today)

if you are not logged in then it doesnt know that you are here so it cant pop up a window until you do login
