News submission impossible

I'm using Opera 6.03 for Linux, and if I try and submit news, even if I'm already logged on, it comes up asking me for a username password. But if you enter it, it just goes in a continuous cycle, asking you for the user name and password again.

Are you sure you're not blocking cookies?

I've got the domain techimo.com to accept all cookies including third party ones.

Hmmm I'll dig up my opera and see what happens for me

Now to find some news..

Yep just as you said sam. My info below.. I wonder if it's because of the lack of Java?

Nope, cause it does it in both win and linux, and I've got JRE2 installed in both (and Opera recognizes them).

I'm off to try Mozilla...

Funny I can login fine to Hotmail from Opera and not here

Yep, I can log onto the forums but not submitt news with Opera.


So I guess this is now a suggestion to fix the news submission page for Opera too?
