Howdy,

I have a problem with this format change.

What format change? The large "comparison shop, find low prices" feature that has been plastered to the right of the "Who's Online" cell on the main forum page. I really don't have a problem with this feature being put in the thread topics, etc. as it is relatively unobtrusive. But for those of us who don't run 2400 x 2000 resolutions, I (at least) don't really care to have to scroll down everytime I visit these forums, which is typically many times a day.

I have never used this feature, and probably never will - simply because that's not how I do my shopping. I can even see this being different if that were an ad that was generating revenue for this site everytime I viewed it, but it isn't. It's simply a feature.

My suggestion? It would be great if it were removed, or if it was something that could be switched on/off in the user control panel, so that those that use it (can use it) and those that don't use it don't have to be bothered by it.

the way I see it is that a lot of sports that I enjoy watching would be quite different without nike et al plastered everywhere

in some countries you wouldn't even get the evening news or weather without advertising

no offence to scott, but I don't use RR simply because I refuse to shop online until it's proven that I can do so without the anxiety of not knowing whether my transaction is 101% secure

be that as it may, I have no problems participating on the boards with RR in a corner or not
