How about a TIMO Lost and Found?

Recently, we've had a few MIA's,* and people naturally post, saying, "Hey, where's____________"

What if we had a sort of a Registry, where members could supply:

TechIMO handle
Address and phone
'In case of MIA, Please Contact___________"

Lots of people have privacy considerations, so this resulting database would not be accessable to anybody but a short list of trusted individuals.

In other words, it would not be a thread, nor would it be a website.

The value of it would be that if and when somebody went MIA, anybody concerned could, oh, I dunno, call or PM the person(s) in charge of that Database, then, this person(s) could discreetly check through the channels provided by that person who's MIA, and report back.

Whattya think?

Yes. That's why only a coupla' people (if THAT many ) could access this DataBase. Privacy.

I mean, ANYBODY can find me, I don't have a concern about that. ( Of course, I put a key in the electrical outlet when I was 3, so consider the source. )

But... some people feel differently, and so it would have to be acceptable to that sensibility. That is, privacy would be the keyword.
