I think it would be helpful to add some more info about the company on their rating page. Mainly how much they sell or how many employees they have, that type of thing. So if some place has 2 bad ratings and no good but they make 500 transactions a month, it would give me a better idea of their reliablity.
How would this information be obtained. If the vendor supplies it and they have a bad raiting then you probably wouldnt believe the info they submit anyway...

Well yea, that's why I just don't look the info up myself . Most the info sites like that cost $. Not worth it if you only want to look up a few companies. Some info may be avail from the company's state government, but probably not much financial info if any.
