Yeah... I was just ready to say "But we DO have a FAQ and there's a button for it up there between 'members' and 'search'." But then I realized you're not stupid (perhaps I am )... of course you know about that FAQ - what you're talking about is one specifically designed for TechIMO that answers questions uniquie to TechIMO. I agree, such a FAQ page would be very nice.
It makes forums EXTREMELY hard to read. It takes up more bandwith. It takes longer for pages to load. There are a miriad of reasons. The main one is the first one though.
