Handhelds??

Does TechIMO have a handhelds forum? If not how about adding one? Of course separate between Palm based and Windows based.

Hmmm I thought he was referring to hand held based forums, meaning forums that we can access for tech support via a PDA or other hand held like devices.

I had wished for that the other day but instead had to run all the way home to get the info i needed. :Sigh: Was no connection on the job site as of yet, not even a dailup. Geezz

I took it to mean to add the seperate handheld topics to PC Hardware to maybe help spark interest.

There are already several good handheld forums out there already, but it would be nice to to have more interest here. Doesn't look like there's much interest though .

Actually what I am ultimately striving for is some opinions on software.... Palm in particular. I have found that one of my most useful utilities is a checkbook program which keeps track of a bank balance(s). I hate to carry a register; never did, never will. My problem is that I have set up too many automatic (i.e. monthly) payments, through my bank's billpayer service, to keep on top of entering them manually. I can't find a program robust enough to support automatic withdrawls and such. And there is too much out there for Palms to sort through it all.

If anyone can direct me to an appropriate website, I'd appreciate it. Also, while this thread is kinda "hot", any feedback here is much appreciated. And one more thing.... I am considering a new PDA sometime soon and have not decided which OS to head for so, the cheaper the program, the better. In case my next one isn't a Palm

A handheld compatible (I've got an iPaq) version would be great. Especially with forums.

Although, that would mean I would have 24/7 access to these forums and that .. just wouldn't be healthy..
