DC Forum suggestion...

Why don't we split our DC forum's into team specific forum's?

I don't think this would be a good idea. Sure most ppl only work on one project. For the few of us that work on up to 5 projects. We would need to check up to 5 project forums multiple times a day.

It would severely divide the teams and ppl would lose touch with whats going on with other projects and the ppl working on those projects. Some of the more dormant project's (RC5, OGR, SETI) forums would be empty, appearing unsupported, and lack the available knowledge of former members that are now working on another project.

It's interesting to see what's going on with other teams. I like it the way it is....at least for now.

I'm with virus, Genome only has 10 member's and would appear to be dormant most of the time.

I too am with virus on this. I occasionaly browse through the other teams posts to keep up with whats happening. What we could do although it might be far to many stickies on the top of the forum is have one sticky for each team with essential info on trouble shooting/installation etc.

Good idea. But I think that would be better as links under each section of the team page?

Although I only currently work on UD, it is interesting to see what's up with the other teams. So I say keep them together. Maybe a better way of organising info might be good, though, like ONE sticky per team, and ALWAYS use [project] for thread titles eg [UD], [ECCp] etc.

I have to agree with Virus here. I like to be able to keep up with the other teams, even if I'm not currently involved in the project.

As Mickwish suggested, as long as folks continue to put the project name in the thread titles, I think all is fine.
