frostbitetwice is on a distinguished road
I Had One of My Threads Deleted.

I do not know were this thread should be placed....

I place a thread in the off topic department about how things have gone slow hear...

The thread is gone and no one contacted me to explain why...

I guess any mention which maybe seen as critical of RR is squash.

I am disappointed and deeply sadden..

I'm curious too. I was burned after having researched RR and found what I suppose were retailer planted posts. I wrote my negative review yesterday. My review only appears when I log on.

I'm a first time user to these forums myself. But yeah, seems like things not wanted just go away here.

I had a huge disappointing experience with the sales associate at Malibal and so I made this account just to leave my review of what happened. And it was a copy paste of how I was hung up on twice.

This is what it was bellow:

Lion: The best gaming laptop. PERIOD. And does it really beat out the highest Alienware?
MALIBAL Support: Hi, I'll be glad to assist you.
Lion: That seemed quick.
MALIBAL Support: hi
Lion: I've been going back and forth between you guys, Sager, Alienware, and was about set on the Alienware when the last minute I

went looking for the most powerfull. Welp, Want to know the best machine for gaming, period.
MALIBAL Support: Our Veda Series
Lion: Alright, so then it actualy is the better choice than the Series 9?
MALIBAL Support: For gaming, yes.
Lion: I see. So then that second video card is the better option than even having that desktop grade processor at 980x I7? I'm

currious about why the Veda dosn't seem to have the high new Nvida card option.
MALIBAL Support: Well, I forgot now we have the new 480M Graphics that just came out last week, it has 2GB of video memory and 256-

bit, so that is currently the single fastest graphics card on the market for gaming, an the Nine has the desktop core i7, so with that

config, yes.
MALIBAL Support: Veda can't hold 480M, requires too much power.
MALIBAL Support: Yes, the 980X is the first 6 core processor, and we have it in the laptop... Alienware doesn't have this type of

power, no way.
MALIBAL Support: I forgot about the 480M, if you get teh 980X and 480M Graphics, then I would take Nine.
Lion: Mmm yeah, well glad I was stalling before making a choice. Was about to hit the series 9 even. Of coarse no matter when you buy

there's always ganna be something better around the corner. I take it there's no way to double up the cards in the series nine though,

eh? I heard someone say that the series 9 had the dual card option, and from the under side it looks like it could do it. But does it

not have the bays for it?
MALIBAL Support: Right, and the 480M literally just came out - and the 980X in the past couple of months so you know on those two

components you are getting the absolute latest.
MALIBAL Support: Nine use to have dual graphics, but then we put third channel memory in it, and third hard drive, so now a desktop

CPU and high-end graphics with three hard drive and three channels of memory it's a beast of a beast.
Lion: With some of the issues I've had with my desktop, like a pause chug when sliding windows around, I might not only be looking for

a machine to catch up on my gaming at work, but it sounds like it just might replace this machine. I was working with a 9800 Gx2 video

card out of EVA but that too seemed to give me troubles. But then again not sure if it's because the retailer wasn't quite so major.

In fact it's pretty much run by one guy. You guys seem new on the block, but looking good and probbably the most cost effective.
Lion: All that aside though, the triple channel realy pushes it farther than having two of the cards would, or is there any kind of

way to slip in two of those new GPUs?
MALIBAL Support: Desktop replacements are what we specialize in - that's our market. And, we aren't that new over 5 years in business

and continually growing, nearly a flawless customer satisfaction rating over that time and no complaints with BBB, we have an A

Rating. Also, we have a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee with no restocking fees, so you only risk shipping costs to try the system out.
MALIBAL Support: no there is not anyway
Lion: yeah the only thing I could read up was a guy who seemed to have trouble, but partly due to his own choice. He lost out over a

hundred bucks it seems, but that deffenatly beats out losing in the grands over a machine with no backing.
MALIBAL Support: ok
Lion: so between the tri channel memory and the likes, witch part is it that's really keeping it from being able to stack two cards?

Sorry to sound like a broken record, I'm very currious. These past two years have been a real crash corce in learning the high end of

PC stuff. I think I'm the only guy in my area to be on this high end stuff.

"Assumed they hung up after this next part."

Lion: I think I accidentally got hung up on, or something happened to the connection. But still hoping to learn a bit more. I AM

interested in buying and pretty sure this is where I'm going to do it. The money is transferred into the checking account for it and

all. >.>
MALIBAL Support: Hi, I'll be glad to assist you.
MALIBAL Support: what is your question
Lion: Trying to understand a couple things about how the new series 9 truely is with the high specs and why the option to double the

video cards is gone.
Lion: I didn't quite understand the reason why before as though I been studying this sort for a year or two now, I'm still not the

highest guy on it. Is it because the memory for the ram is tri or that and something else?
MALIBAL Support: yes
Lion: so just the tri channel then, no other reason?
MALIBAL Support: please don't make me repreat myself that's just plain disrepectful
MALIBAL Support: I told you exactly why
MALIBAL Support: triple channel memory and third hard drive, was dual channel and two hard drives
Lion: Sorry I been looking through this sort for hours and didn't sleep. I'm not sure I totaly understood, I thought I saw something

else of a reason too, but I guess it's just the tri channel memory then. Didn't mean to be disrespectfull or anything like that. But I

see now. Sorry like I said I'm still not as high form on this sort as some.
MALIBAL Support: ok
Lion: Wow it must be intense over there. Are you the only one taking the calls for questions right now?
Lion: I really wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything, I just want to know fully what I'm getting into and the computer guy I been

working through is just utterly out of date when it comes to the high end gaming stuff.
MALIBAL Support: OK, we don't have to go through all of this drama, you can purchase from another company that is fine.
MALIBAL Support: good day

"All I have to say is... Wow... Never in my life have I encountered a sales support rep that came down like that."

After posting the above as a review and the rating being one check, it appeared to me, but no one else. Now it appears to no one. It was removed and no now one may ever know what this company did, so they can continue to be rude. More so one of the few reviews that did get through they merely admitted themselves that someone felt they were being cold, but it's hard to tell the tone of one's voice via text. I think this text is pretty clear if you read the above.

In my profile it now says I have zero reviews, yet I go to rate the company and it says people can rate any one company only once..... OK? so then where is my review? Why is it so shadily removed?

Is it a case that if people don't like the real negative reviews against companies that wrong us.... it just goes away? Does it mean that these reviews really are going to be picked as till they ones they feel unfair are removed without word no whim? Removing things like that, without notice, without given premise or cause does not seem very fair...

I'm disappointed.

That is our 48 hour queue. New reviews go into a 48 hour queue, during which time you can see it if you login, but others can't. After 48 hours, the review appears. This gives retailers time, an incentive, to try their hardest to resolve your issues, which is an important aspect of ResellerRatings.

Your review was removed because you stated that you did not complete an order with the retailer. Every one of the reviews we receive must be accompanied by a valid order number. Without an order number, you can post here in the forum, but you can't submit a review. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that shoppers can rely upon the reviews at ResellerRatings to make purchasing decisions, since every review was written by someone who has had actual direct experience with the retailer (rather than varying degrees of indirect experience, such as hearing a rumor about a retailer, or calling a retailer one time, etc).

We do not evaluate whether or not reviews are fair. All submitted reviews appear on our site (around 350 reviews per day), as long as they adhere to our published policies (Terms and Conditions - ResellerRatings.com). Retailers cannot remove reviews, and we reject any request to remove a policy-compliant review from legitimate customers.

At present, we only allow one review per store per person, but that will change after we complete a redesign of our site this year.

A review in my opinion should be a summary of what happened. Not a play by play.... Jeez I would have hung up on you too after reading that...

Resellers,

Wonderful explanation!
