Minimizing Spammers.
Lot of spam hear lately...Can not PM moderator anymore either.
How about restricting registration only on Mondays or only twice a month....
This would put a major dent into spamming operations...

Would that not also put a major dent in new membership?
Including new members asking about a questionable merchant or asking about a problem with a merchant. Not to mention new members trying to leave a review for a merchant. Per the RR Homepage there were 377 reviews left in just the last 24 hrs.
People would just go to another website instead of waiting a week or so to register and post here.

Most of those 377 reviews were not left by new members...Besides, really, where would they go??

So are you saying that almost 500 new members should wait to register because of one spammer?
If so then your once a week registration idea would mean that, on average, 3,500 new members should wait to register because of 7 spammers. Note: That average is based on figures from only the last 19-24 hours.
