Is it just me, or did the private messages disappear? 
I had some saved in there. I would have downloaded and saved them if we had any prior notice.

I noticed it Saturday the 19th. Figured it was just some sort of update bug. 
Was someone spamming via PM and I didn't get any?  I always miss the good stuff.

I was going to PM a mod about the leftover spam messages in the threads and noticed there was no PM options.

The private messaging system is currently offline awaiting a possible overhaul. I do not know much of the specifics since that is not my department, so do not form any expectations when I say this, but I would suspect your existing messages will not be lost if/when the overhaul goes online.
