I recently noticed that some stores that are showing up in the price comparison list are listed as not being reviewed yet when they have been. How many reviews must a store receive before it is considered to have a ratiing?
To see this in action, just do a search on the product "Dimage Z5". The store IBuyPlasma states that it has not been reviewed, yet if you search on the stores you find that it has over a 9 rating with almost 50 reviews.
Oneother store that also has not been reviewed has a strange quirk. Circuit Digital is not even listed as a store in ResellerRatings so why is it on the price comparison page? Shouldn't there at least be an empty entry for it in ResellerRatings?
If I could make the following recommendations:
- If a store has at least one review or a rating, but does not reach the limit to be considered reviewed, the rating should be grayed out on a price comparison list, but should still be visible
- If a store is in the price comparison list, there should be an entry in ResellerRatings for it, even if it has no rating/reviews
- If a store is not reviewed yet and you click on the link on the price comparison list that states "Review this Company", it should give you the option of creating a review for that company instead of just opening a page that states "This store has not yet been rated."
Anyone else have any thoughts or suggestions about this? LaraRR, I'd like to hear what you think about these issues as you were quite helpful with my questions about the toolbar.
