Problem with logging in

Recently I have been using apublic computer to check the web, and because of that I get logged out all the time due to cookies being erased and such....so whenever I come back and try to quick reply it tells me I have to log back in...ok, no problem, i copy my message, log back in, and it tells me I have no thread specified. so I have to go back to the beginning of the forums and find the thread over again. Small annoyance, but is this on purpose or is there a way for it to recognize what thread you were in?

Does that make any sense at all?

Yup it makes sense. Just make sure your logged in and don't use the quick reply on public computers.

If you're talking specifically about techimo, just enter your id and password then hit the back button on the browser a couple times until you get back to the screen where you typed your message and then hit submit. That works for me on Netscape 7.1

Had the same problem with opera, from home. I log out and cant log in again. I fix it by deleteing the cookie file.
