Possible Feature?

from mickwish's thread :
http://www.pcmarket.com.au/forum/sho...0&pagenumber=7

If you notice under the members names it tells whether the person is 'online' or 'offline'. I thought that was kind of neat, and quite a useful feature, kind of gives you a lot of info at one glance,
what does everyone think of this. Scott is it possible?.

While I do like the idea very much, currently we do have the buddy list thing that does the same thing. I figure if we have that, can't we integrate it into the boards?

Not sure what you mean, club_med..

When I'm in TechIMO I can see who is online in the thread by whether the tick is yellow or grey.. it doesn't say "online" or "offline", but I know that's what it means...

... the difference in PCM's forum is that they have a page which shows"Who's online" and what page they are currently viewing..

see http://www.pcmarket.com.au/forum/online.php?

Is that what you mean??

I thought that we already had this feature? The icon next to the date and time posted. When it is yellow they are online.

EDIT: damm slow dialup, already answered while my post page was loading.

That's what that check means?
The bottom of the main page shows who is online and offline.

Yeah, Mike, but like it shows in the link I posted, PCM has a page which shows what you are currently viewing online in the forum...

...is this a useful feature??
