TechIMO email newsletter

Hey guys, why doesn't TechIMo have a monthly or weekly email tech news newsletter option? I mean, other forums (not to name drop ) have them. I kind of like the email newsletters sent regularly cause then I can be lazy and not troll through all the news posts, and stick with the discussion forums.

Have this been considered before - must of been, you're a bright bunch of boys?

Or if there is one, where the heck do you find it???

Maybe TechIMo doesn't consider itself a good enough news site to provide one?

Do we need a poll??

i dunno, i think any techimo news letter would become an innocent victim of my anti spam delete key

i also usually do not sign up for news letters, when given the oppurtunity to choose

I'd prefer to hike throught the message boards. Takes up more time, plus it allows Scott and the gang to make some money to ensure that this site keeps running.

On the front of the home page underneath the Top Posters there is a box to allow you to sign up for it.

Maybe we can bring Joel back to do it like he did with SysOpt

I actually liked reading the newsletters back in the day. Sometimes it enlightened me to posts I had not yet seen

Man I'm feelin' old with all these new young bucks coming into the site. Wonder how many know what sysopt is? LOL

Back in the "old" days, the Sysopt newsletter was the ONLY newsletter that I actually read. I'd actually look forward to it! They were usually very interesting. Of course, after TechIMO was born, the first thing I did when I got the next one was hit the "Unsubscribe" link.

I'd imagine, though, that a newsletter is actually in the plans (since the signup link is there), but Scott and Co. are just too busy to write one right now.

I'm sure there will be one when they get around to it.
