Remember when 1 GB was a VERY LARGE drive?
Check out this
Maxtor 160 GB drive.
Though it's a 5400 rpm drive and the seek times are nothing to write home about, some of them have a better data transfer rate than higher speed (rpm) drives. I don't know about this one.
I don't find the physical size anywhere. I wonder if the picture is deceiving and it's a 5-1/4" drive?
How long before we have 1 TByte drives for $100????
I just read somewhere else that drives this large require a different HD controller. Anybody know about this?
