Talk Good Deal on a PCI & ISA PC Diagnostic POST CARD

I think I got a good deal on a PCI & ISA Post Test Card for your motherboard. $25.00

http://www.elstonsystems.com/prod/pc...stic_card.html

It's a nice card if you are trying to troubleshoot motherboards.

The best deal I've seen on CNET or Computer Shopper is: $33.00 and that is only the PCI version.

http://google-cnet.com.com/4007-5_9-...ag=cnetshopper

It's quite a BIT cheaper than this card: $499.00
http://www.protechdiagnostics.com/sc...age=lightboard

Not sure why that one cost so much.

I bought one of their 2.0 cards a few months ago for about that price from their constant ebay auctions.. I wish they'd had it available for purchase straight from their website back then. I like the speaker and external LED block, too; I wish mine had them.

E-mail them and ask them about their "upgrade" policy.

*********COPY AND PASTE from WEBSITE:***********
Computer Parts Trade-Up Policy

Pay attention to this! Any computer part you purchase from Elston Systems, Inc within ONE year of your purchase, you may trade in your computer part for a new one. What we do is determine what the market value of your old computer part you are trading at the time cost, then give you HALF the price in return to apply toward the purchase of a new computer part.
Example where this comes into play:

You purchase a 3D video card on 1-1-2001 for $100.00. On 12-31-2001 you decide you want a better video card. On 12-31-2001 your old video card can be purchased for brand new at a price of $75.00. So your half market value would be, $37.50 in return. You get a $37.50 in-store credit. You decide you want a bigger video card that cost $150.00 on 12-31-2001, you are required to use your in-store credit toward the purchase of a new video card, so you would owe us: $112.50 plus some loose change for Indiana Sales Tax.

You can keep doing this from year to year, so long as you have proof of purchase of ANY COMPUTER PART for up to one year. That means, you have to bring in your original sales receipt so we know when you purchased the computer from us.

*****************END PASTE***************

They said my 2.0 version was still fair market value and let me trade my 2.0 version for a 3.1 version EVEN trade. I just had to pay for the postage both ways, $8.00 total.

Dunno if that is worth it to you or not. Their e-mail is: company@elstonsystems.com ask them for the same deal.
