Help... Looking for a good deal on Digital Camera.

hi, I've been checking on the next for some good deals on a digital camera, but so far the price are mostly the same...
I am looking for a camera like the Nikon Coolpix 5700
having at least 5 megapixel, at least 8x optical zoom, if possible a long battery life.. and basically that's it.. So far I have not find any good deals.

Next time throw this in the Deal requests thread, I'm sure it'll get moved in the meantime.

Anyway as for retail prices check out www.buydig.com
They have very cheap prices and their cameras carry a USA warranty unless otherwise stated. But if you do buy from them make sure it's JUST the camera.. their accessories and package deals are not deals. They're ripoffs. So get your extra batteries/charger/cards, etc. somewhere else.

If you have not decided on the exact camera you would like, I would suggest checking http://www.dcresource.com/. It is a good source for reviews of digital cameras.

I've bought two digital cameras from http://www.shopharmony.com/ and have had great success and service from them. No pressure to buy any accessories or packages from their staff.
