Food Corsair VS512MB333 512MB DDR333 PC2700 CAS2.5 Memory Retail $50

No rebates and free shipping.
Few days ago it was $49.50 on both Newegg and Googlegear. Now it is $50 on Googlegear and $52 on Newegg.
Also, Newegg sells it as OEM and Googlegear as Retail. I like Newegg and I needed two sticks of ram so, I ordered one from both...
(while it was $50 on Newegg)

I ordered a bunch of this stuff from googlegear and it is NOT the same RAM in the review you posted. It is not Samsung chips, and it will not do CAS 2, as tested in the review. However, it's still a good price, even if it won't run much past it's specs.

I haven't received mine yet. No detail pictures on Googlegear but Newegg has detailed pictures which show those Samsung chips, same as on that review. Since they was used on two different brands with similar results I guessed that this one (Corsair) would perform more or less the same...
Are you saying that Googlegear Corsair (VS512MB333) has different chips?

MDdan, you was right. My stick was not the one from the newegg picture nether it has Samsung chips on it. It has Corsair sticker on it but on the PCB you can read "Spectek" and chips are with "S" mark.
Also it produces memtest errors on my nForce2 even at 133fsb :-/
