Nice case for mod or starter

I just bought a case from here recently...
http://store.yahoo.com/amamax/pricewtchgrsatx718b.html
It was selling for $4 three weeks ago..($14 for shipping)
soon after it went up to what it is now ($46 free ship)...the pic does not do it justice...
came with all the extras...have paid much more, for less in past...didnt expect much but what I got was nice case (even though it is thin steel) with a generic 500 watt PSU not the advertised 400 watt.
power cable, all screws, standoffs, and four nice thumbscrews, and a cool little case speaker.
A few days later I happened across this...

($19 free ship)
It is my cases brother from same company and I,m willing to bet it comes similarily equipped. It looks very similar to mine with a plainer front panel and no window. Not what most would consider high-end case but very affordable and simple to look at for a case mod or cheap system builder...why not put the money into something that matters. I built mine with a spare K7S5A and some leftovers for quite a nice system for my daughter. If you know the infamous K7S5A's you know the PSU cant be toooo bad or I'd be having instability issues.
Spidey side for $37...

Thin steel? No thanks. Durability is first priority for me.

I never got the durability issue....it's one thing if you're going to be mobilizing the box from time to time...it's another thing strapping it to your back and taking it bungee jumping.

I have some nice thin steel cases from computergeeks and they've been moved a lot....have had no problems at all with them.

*PLUS....at around 26-34 bucks for an average case from them...they're disposable.

Actually a good case matters a lot.....to me at least...And if you get the right one, you will only need one for years to come.

I agree wholeheartedly guys...
these are just for when its not a priority to have the best most expensive case that will be sitting in a corner virtually untouched or for someone who wants affordable alternative for possible mods or for children.
I know these are O.K. cases and for the money they are hard to beat...not like some of the total Cr_p I've gotten in past and paid much more money for. Thats the reason I titled this the way I did.
