SkyHawk Aluminum cases w/free ps

They are pretty nice cases. I've bought two before, and Dealsonic is a great reseller. The power supply is 400 watts.

I have the Powmax AL6688RA-XWN Aluminum from there about 9months ago and didn't have any problem with it at all. They changed the window a bit since I got mine though.

I'm all for DealSonic. I have placed a couple of orders in the past, and have another in progress.

I have yet to contact them about a Power supply & Skyhawk case incompatibility. I thought I'd mention my personal experience, in case it may affect anyone.

On my particular Skyhawk Aluminum case, the AL4350UA-BK-QWN, the Antec TrueBlue 480W power supply doesn't exactly fit properly. The mounting holes/screws will fit, but the second fan on the PSU will only fit facing UP. (On any other case I've seen, the holes/screws allow the PSU fan to point downward as intended.)

It may be that I got my case from a 'unique' batch from Skyhawk, and that the holes are 'upside down' for PSU mounting... BUT.. I thought I'd at least let you know.

Their images (on their site) of the back of the case do not represent what my case actually shows. The Antec TrueBlue 480W is still listed as an option for that case.

I plan on contacting DealSonic about this issue tomorrow, and I will definitely post a followup.

Don't let that deter you from buying from DealSonic, or otherwise buying a Skyhawk case. I really like mine, and really like Dealsonic!

I take it the rear mount on the case can't be flipped like the Lian-Li's?

not on this one, at least.

I've been told the RMA dept. will be contacting me tomorrow.

Although DealSonic is not in business hours, I did get an email response to my issue.

Dealsonic was very eager to help me out. I did get in contact with them...

Someone has been assigned to go through the cases and be sure the power supplies are compatible. I will stick with my case/psu combo from DealSonic. I'm again pleased at their accurate/personal responses to all my questions Don't hesitate buying from them if you are considering !
