You can take anyone's opinion with a grain of salt.

That said, I would steer clear of any HP computer. In my experience they're very poorly built, and I know a number of people who haven't been happy with them. I can't speak directly about the laptops, but at least the desktop systems seem to be sub-par.

Either get a dell laptop or a toshiba laptop. Do NOT get any other brands, all the other brands you cant trust, ....trust me!!

im not sure that all other brands "suck"


i have had some really crappy compaqs and some really great ones

some really crappy gateways and some really great ones

i have had some really crappy toshibas and some really great ones

you get the picture

micron makes some pretty sweet laptops also
