click me! It's just hard to believe that microsoft would not have caught this a while ago as it looks like they've been doing lots of surveys for a little while atleast. If it is a fraud, MS will probably burn them to the ground. And hey, we've all been traumatized, maybe we can get some kinda class action suit
captainjrl-It's a deal the UW System (Wisconsin) has worked out so we all get cheap software. It's the XP Pro upgrade, but that's no biggie as most people can get their hands on a cd for an older version. The only little hitch is that the contract runs out end of July and if the university doesn't renew it again this year (big budget cuts...ehhh) it is illegal for anyone to use the software they purchased. The software is like the corporate version and doesn't need to be activated, so you'll never be hunted down (knock on wood). Hopefully it won't become an issue.
