Ive used a couple of those cases and they are really nice, I think I paid about 40$ more (6 months ago with the 420 watt from Newegg) I looked a couple weeks ago and they were over 150$ at Fry's---Newegg has em with a fan in the window now but a 400watt for 99$ or 69$ with no p/s but without the USB to the front---whatever you do dont get the yellow one unless you can actually see it first---the one I received was kind of a yucky mustard color rather then the lemon yellow it looks like---you may have found your best deal if the shipping is reasonable...

I checked it out @ newegg and yah u were right, it was $99 but only cheap 400 watt power supply, no front USB port and the side panel window was smaller =( no side panel fan eitha

Anyway, I guess imana give that xpcases.com place a try since they don't have RESTOCKING FEEs so all i got to loose is the shipping if I decide to return it (by teh way, it was like $20 it's kinda the standard nowdays I think). I got r@ped b4 from this company called vikingcomputers (went otta business liek a year ago) and I lost like $80 in Frig3n RESTOCKING FEEs and Shipping adn so called "Handling" for buncha JUNK dat did not work...that's why I only buy from the big guys but they too expensive so I guess this is a good deal. Well, I will give them a try and build my new system for Counter Strike. Can't wait to see the cold cathode light flashing from inside my new silver ALUMINUM case =D...
Anyone have pic of this case w/cathode light insde? Please post if u do so I can see how it lookz...thx

KOP is right,(hey, Tim):
I've got a couple of those Al cases, and they can't be beat for
styling, space, and weight.

I have that yellow one,(Tim tried to warn me about the color),
and it is definitely a duller mustard yellow. So much for my
"Bumble Bee" project, unless I have it painted, then the keyboard
and mouse wouldn't match, and I'd hate to think about painting
that. But I think that silver color is the most popular and definitely the way to go.
Good luck on your gaming rig. You've got a great start with that case.

Thx for the heads up. I was considering the Yellow too but I also took KOP's word adn I stuck to my other favorite color Silver (I like black 2 but I tho maybe get dirtee 2 easy.

Same case at Fry's here in TX about a month ago was $114.95 with a $15 mail in rebate.

Newegg has the Chieftec version with all the same features for $107 shipped. Stock # N82E16811125135.

XPcases doesn't have any feedback on reseller ratings either.

I did see that 1 weekend special Fry's was running for $114.95, I was going to buy it then, but good thing i didn't cuz they did NOT have teh USB ports things in da front and I HATE rebates! (You pay the TAX on teh pre-rebate price and then the rebate gets lost in mail and or u forget bout it)

Well imana contact that xpcases.com site and see if I can get a price match or something...sigh...I doubt it tho cuz they ship out my case couple of hours after I ordered it and I will receive it on monday, and once you get the products, companys don't wanna have anytihng else to do with you...

By the way, that eggsite only had that price for the silver and black, but not on the other colors (they were regular price) But if u do know where they sell Blue 1s for that kinda price plz let meh know yah? My cousin wants 1 in Blue or maybe Green

I bought one today at the Pomona computer fair. It doesn't have the clear window (I have no need for that) and it is the regular case color (all my drives are that color anyway), it came with a 400w psu and 2 fans, I paid $75.00. Jeez, it's big inside.

yeah, i would definitely go with newegg if you're gonna order online. They're cheaper than Xpcases, and they're reliable.
