Officemax refusing the OD coupon.
Store manager at Tigard, OR store says, "not good with any other offer".
Phone order folks say, "That's an in-store coupon. This is catalog sales."
True enough, but on the other hand, Staples was great with both the coupons that I took there. (Also, they print those BIG rebate forms and an extra reciept for each MIR. Good thinking!)

well they are hagling over the website address, why dont you save the gif and open it up in ms paint or whatever program and print it out and give it to them, and if they ask say they sent it to you in an email, becuase isn't that how the coupon started out?

Just used it again on that chair
There was a big pile in the middle of the store, and some guy was scritinizing them. It said 39.99 After Rebate!
I pick one up, try to walk to the register without running into anyone (I'm uhh slightly vertically challenged. Had a little trouble seeing over the box well when I was holding it.) and lined up. Turns out the guy got the chair and lined up behind me. The thing scans in at 69.99, and I bring out the website printout and asked him to pricematch thier own site...he said he needs to check date, and I told him it was printed out yesterday. So he takes it down to 59.99. Then I took out the 20 off 50, and that cuts it down to 39.99, and the cashier makes this comment about how I made out because I still get the $30 rebate. The guy in back of me's jaw practically drops and asked "Where you get that? the computer?" I just answer with a terse "Yea". I pay my dues and start walkin away, and the guy asks the cashier if he can put the chair back and go home and get the coupon/pricematch and come back and purchase it. The cashier said dont worry about it, and I assume he just passed the deal down to him too.
I just assembled the chair and I'm sitting on it right now. It feels a bit stiff compared to the $120 leather chair my mom bought, and doesnt tilt back as easy, and the lever for the hieght control feels kinda cheap, but it IS leather, has lumbar support which the $120 one didnt, and IS $9.99.
I think I've killed OD for enough of thier profits. I think I used 5 of these, three of which I split with friends, and one which I shared with the guy in line behind me. Thats $120 that me and others have saved from OD total. That, and the fact that I dont think theres anything else I want to buy there.
One more quick thing
I think theres 4 UPC's on the chair box..does that sound right? So I cut any one of them out and send it? I don't want to send something thats not the UPC and be out the 30 dollars.

I think i broke it in a bit
Plus it tilts easier if u loosen the large twist-nut thing on the bottom. It comes in "tight" position.

AuraEdge, regarding the tilt mechanism being stiff, there should be a set screw or other adjustment on the cylinder on either side of the bottom pad.
I lubed mine, then it was too easy, I had to tighten it.

This coupon is good thru Saturday. Another round of weekly specials.
