Alienware Computer Case

Hello Im kicking myself in the butt right now because I cant remember at what website I found a case that looked like the Alienware one but was rather cheap 100-150.. The site in question them on preorder and would have them in 2 weeks if that helps anyone think of the one I lost. Thanks for any help.

Im also looking for a nice case in general if anyone has some nice case prices post em here because its time to upgrade old betsy!

The alienware case is the Antec 1030. Do a search for them at http://www.newegg.com . Antec also sells their case to other companys like chieftec, and chieftec sells them under thier name. They will run you about $80 with PSU.

i think newegg sells chieftec ones now that are aluminum as well, sweet

newegg from the looks are out of stock of the chieftecs that have power supplies

Newegg is cranking them out---the Chieftech is aluminum unlike the Antech (ive bought 2) and it has the side window, click the "auto-notify" or check back with them as it seems like they re-stock them pretty quick...

Bob, Antec doesn't make those cases. As a matter of fact, Maximum PC wrote this in their magazine for May.

In March, The Dog left a boo-boo on the carpet by saying that Antec cases are manufactured by Chieftec. In face, Chen-Ming manufactures cases for both Antec and Chieftec.

www.directron.com has all the old and new Alienware type cases.. I believe I paid $75-$80 for the Full Tower Chieftech case w/320watt PSU shipped. And these are the BIG cases with plenty of room.

That last case RitKid looks nice, although a bit big... it looks like the front of the case is a built in filter.

Right now I am modding the case for better circulation.
(cut away front & rear fan areas for more air & bigger fans)
and doing a side mounted 80mm clear fan with blue leds, thermal controlled)

BTW the case arrived in 7 days and in perfect condition (UPS ground)
