I can't recommend any ACER having received the worst possible service from them. Do you think removing the RAM sent in with the laptop or using cellophane tape on two corners of the motherboard counts as good technical expertise? If you can fix it yourself, this might be worth looking at. Since the laptop owner can't "prove" what ram existed, they are at a disadvantage.
