We have two 18.1" TFTs in our computer lab, one has a max res of 1024x768 and I think it looks like crap. The other has a 1280x1024 and it looks like a dream - probably also the reason why it cost $1100.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I woudn't buy a TFT that large w/ that small of a res. If you can go to a store and see it before you buy it, then its your call. But I just figured my experience might be of some help.

EDIT: My bad, I misread that for some reason. It might be ok since it has a 1280x1024 res. What is their return policy? Can you return it if you don't like it?

Not to worry, any opionions welcome in this thread as I stated that I am "Not sure how good this Flat Panel is".

I wouldnt want to stear somebody the wrong way but who knows, maybe sombody has a use for it, the price is cheap.

I agree with newbie in that it would be wise to take a look at this thing in action before making any final decisions as I have not seen it myself.
