Incorrect. The price given was for a 4GB card at the time of posting. You followed a deal link 12 hours after being posted. We have absolutely zero control over what vendors decide to do with their prices or inventories, and best believe vendors oftentimes change prices and availability in a matter of hours. In fact, the item in question has not only changed prices, but it is also currently sold out.
To verify the validiy of the deal, the same promotion was posted by a member over at our sister site, Dealighted.com:
Kingston 4GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card $7 + FS - Dealighted Forum
Look around the deal forums here and at our Dealighted.com site. We generally rely on community feedback to update deal posts in regards to price and other status changes. For example, deal "expiration" dates and times are often best guess estimates, as again, we have zero control over what vendors decide to do with their sales and promotions.
A more appropriate reply to a deal discussion in such a situation would be to provide informative and useful feedback for the whole community to share, such as stating there has been a "price change" or the item being "sold out," not to accuse someone of supposedly hijacking click through revenue.
