i will never buy a phillips product again
just so everybody know. a couple of years ago i spent $1100.00 for a 32" philips/magnavox lcd tv. it lasted less than 18 months!. all attempts to get any help from them fell on deaf ears. their best offer was to sell me a rebuilt for nearly $800.00!!. i called and contacted everybody i could at phillips. never got more than a "we're sorry, but dems da breaks" letter from their brain-dead first tier customer service. i finally got the contact data for their VP of customer something or other. called three times, never even got the courtesy of a return call. and i wasn't being unreasonable. i offered to pay up to $400.00 plus shipping, to have them swap me out, but no...they wouldn't evern consider it...sheees, you'd think that, even though it was out of warranty, they'd understand that an $1100.00 tv should last more than 18 mos. just want everyone to know how philips treated me!, i will NEVER buy another phillips anything!!!
