I mistakenly bought this unit (WDG1NC10000N) off the shelf at Costco several months ago. Nowhere in the specs on the Circuit City page does it mention USB or Firewire connections. This particular unit accepts USB 2.0 only. I returned it to Costco, and through their online store I purchased the WD 1TB MyBook Pro Edition II for $349 (WDG2TP10000N). The Pro Edition II gives you the option of USB 2.0, Firewire 400 or Firewire 800.
