I got this processor from the egg a while ago. Seriously a great deal if you can't upgrade your whole computer right now.

I don't think that the 2800 is socket 939?
If that's the case, then you'll be looking at replacing your motherboard too... And possibly the memory... Then of course the PCI-EXpress/AGP situation.

I was thinking about getting this to replace my 2800 also. Of course I would have to replace the mobo and video card also.
